There are three main styles of parquet floors; square edge, chevron and panels such as versailles, each style is available in Solid wood or Engineered wood.

Square edge parquet is traditionally laid in a herringbone pattern at 45 degree angle and framed with a border. Other patterns such as basket weave, double herringbone, rolling dice etc can be achieved depending on the size of the block.
